Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various cleaning tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented for guests.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to the supervisor.
- Supervise and train new housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning and maintenance.
- Maintain equipment used in cleaning processes, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing custodial duties to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as hospitality and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping management is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in custodial work.
