At Worthington Enterprises, we are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at our Maize facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing assembly operations to produce LPG cylinders and monitoring them to required specifications.
About the Job
The assembler position involves working in a fast-paced production environment, where you will be required to stand for long periods, use your hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, reach with your hands and arms, and talk or hear. You must also be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
In terms of qualifications, you will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or a minimum of two months related experience and/or training. You should also have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, as well as the ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
