What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Specialist position at Worthy?

As our Operations Specialist, you will be working with our Operations and Gemology Teams out of our NYC lab and office 5 days per week. You will be responsible for operational tasks in our jewelry, auctions and the tender process. This role will require exemplary attention to detail, efficient use of technology platforms and equipment, care when handling jewelry items, and effective communication with your teammates.
- Shipping/receiving jewelry items: receiving packages, process items under cameras, process seller ship backs, and send out ship kits to new sellers
- Work with our various external vendors; meeting them in person to deliver and pick up products at the GIA, IGI, and various local offices for both Worthy and Circa teams.
- Support in a backup role to clean jewelry to be prepared for photography.
- Use our 360 videography equipment to record videos of diamonds and gems for both Worthy and Circa as needed.
- Manage data and inventory by entering grading certificates and other item details on the jewelry into our proprietary database
- Support the Circa team as needed with their processing of items.
- Be a team player to ensure the timely processing of items by working with the teams in the Operations groups for both Worthy and Circa.

- A strong communicator with excellent verbal & written skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with all teams
- Flexible and willing to adapt to changing business needs and ability to manage multiple moving parts
- 3-5 years of professional working experience; ideally in operations, administration, inventory or data management
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Comfortable working in our office Monday through Friday

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
