Job Summary :
Worton Creek Marina is a family-owned marina and boat yard near Chestertown on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. We are a full-service marina offering summer slips, winter dry storage, and a substantial boat yard operation.

Service Coordinator / Administrator
The service administrator is the primary contact person with our customers for service work, boat hauls and slip rentals. The position requires a person with excellent communication skills who enjoys interacting with both customers and team members. The person in this job must have basic computer skills and be highly organized. Marina or boat yard experience is a plus, but we will train a qualified applicant.
Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist new and current customers who come into the office
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, & in person
- Communicate with team members with regard to new and in progress yard projects
- Update parts books
- Maintain time cards of employees for billing
- Create work orders for customer service requests
- Print, review, with managers, and bill work orders
- Input sublet invoices
- Coordinate work schedules (haul out, launch, survey hauls etc.)
- Coordinate with vendors (Shrink wrap, detailing, outside contractor work)
- Handle slip and dry storage rentals
- Answer phones
- Maintain time off calendar for employees
- Maintain various marina forms and distribute to customers as necessary
- Type work estimates
- Set up new employees on time clock & dockmaster time cards
- Input manual timesheets into computer
- Assist with ship store when needed
- Maintain organization and flow of office paperwork
- Create new customer / boat file and update as needed in Dockmaster computer system.
- Maintain dockage agreement files

Pay : $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
