Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Swim Coach to join our team. The Assistant Coach will play a crucial role in fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among team members.
Duties
- Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practice sessions for various sports, including basketball, judo, karate, and climbing.
- Educate athletes on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport to enhance their performance.
- Provide individualized coaching to students to help them improve their skills and achieve their personal goals.
- Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth and development.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, teamwork, and hard work.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize competitions, events, and training camps.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing rules and regulations during practices and competitions.
- Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and school administration regarding athlete performance and well-being.
Requirements
- Experience in sports coaching or physical education is preferred.
- Background in martial arts (such as judo or karate) or climbing is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students of varying skill levels.
- A commitment to educating young athletes about health, fitness, and sportsmanship.
