Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Air Import Agent to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will manage the importation of goods via air freight, ensuring compliance with all regulations and deadlines. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, preparing and processing documentation, tracking shipments, communicating with customs brokers, and providing excellent customer service. The successful applicant will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a background in logistics or supply chain management. Knowledge of customs regulations and experience with freight forwarding software is preferred. Qualifications :
- 2 years of experience in import logistics or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and compliance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret customs forms, commercial invoices, and other shipping documents
- Experience with import clearance procedures, including customs brokerage and freight forwarding
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
