Key Responsibilities :
- Hands-on leadership in enforcing safety procedures, ensuring all employees comply with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
- Actively work in the field, monitoring safety conditions, and ensuring employees follow proper PPE and handling procedures.
- Conduct frequent on-site inspections of waste processing areas, including exposure to needles, medical waste, and other hazardous materials.
- Train and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking employees, ensuring full understanding of safety protocols.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices, implementing corrective measures immediately.
- Manage hazardous waste compliance, ensuring proper disposal, storage, and documentation.
- Lead emergency response planning and drills, ensuring preparedness for incidents such as spills, chemical exposure, or workplace injuries.
- Work closely with operations teams to develop practical, real-world solutions that prioritize safety while maintaining efficiency.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices, making proactive adjustments to policies and training programs.
