Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting, and compliance with labor laws. This position requires a proactive approach to managing HR processes and fostering a positive workplace culture. Contract position, 2-5 hours / week, On call and ongoing. $50-60 / hr.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Handle employee relations matters by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage payroll processes using Ceridian or similar systems.
- Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Must present Onsite for Onboarding and Terminations (If / when applicable)
- Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
- Collaborate with management to implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals.
- Provide guidance on HR best practices and support managers in performance management processes.
