Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and quality control processes. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, including HACCP, FDA regulations, and ISO 9001. This role is critical in maintaining the highest quality standards in our products and processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform Receiving Inspection, In-Process Inspection of parts being manufactured or assembled, First Article Inspection of newly designed or revised products to meet and conform with customers’ specifications
- Conferring with vendors and / or customers regarding inspection results and inspection data, and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards
- Review, release and monitor work orders / job travelers to ensure the inspector’s ability to verify requirements to meet the drawings / specifications and to check for conflicting or missing requirements on the documents
- Assures product quality through maintenance of a quality system in accordance with the quality regulations and customer requirements
- Managing non-conformances, corrective and preventative actions
- Performing a quick visual inspection, testing, measuring, analyzing products and recording pass / fail grade of products for management review
- Ensuring the QMS policies and procedures are maintained and developed in accordance with customer requirements and AS9100.
- Providing guidance to Engineering and Program Manager during design and specification requirements to best utilize quality processes and techniques
- Interfacing with Program Managers, Engineering and Manufacturing / Operations to ensure customer requirements and specifications are flowed down to products and services.
- Supporting manufacturing and quality project planning and scheduling to assure a seamless execution and delivery of products and services
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required; must be able to work overtime and weekend if necessary
