About the Role
Wound Management Specialists is seeking a Wound Care Technician to assist our providers in delivering high-quality wound care. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a high level of reliability to support patient care and ensure seamless communication between providers, patients, and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the direct supervision of a provider
- Assist with dressing applications and wound cleansing
- Record vital signs and document patient information accurately
- Communicate professionally with patients, clinics, and staff to coordinate care
- Deliver exceptional customer service while assisting patients and healthcare partners
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office applications
- Maintain a high level of organization to manage patient care efficiently
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or similar certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Preferred)
- 1 year of bedside patient care experience (Preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Reliable and able to work independently
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, and pull as required for patient care
