Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
  • Foster strong relationships with children, promoting their social skills and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Experience

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
  • Familiarity with caregiving practices for children with disabilities is a plus.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
  • CDA, CCP, or COM required.
  • DHS regulations knowledge preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
