Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with children, promoting their social skills and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with caregiving practices for children with disabilities is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
- CDA, CCP, or COM required.
- DHS regulations knowledge preferred.
