Production Team Lead

WOW Baking Company produces amazingly delicious gluten-free products that are distributed in retail locations throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Sumner, WA, we are a dedicated gluten-free, SQF Certified facility that is looking to add a qualified Production Team Lead to our pool of talented associates.

About the Role
Production Associates are responsible to ensure that WOW cookies are portioned, baked and packaged according to set quality standard. The Team Lead will be responsible for keeping Associates on schedule for end of the day activities and fill in for breaks and absences. **This position can be full or part time. **

What Youll Do

You will be knowledgeable in all areas of commercial bakery manufacturing, including:

• Depositors setting up, operating, tearing down and cleaning depositors
• Baking operating and cleaning rack ovens
• Production depanning cookies, and proper production cleaning processes
• Quality - monitor finished product for quality standards such as weight, color and texture, as required within each step of the production process
• Packaging assist as needed with bag filler and flow wrapper
• Lead guide the team to complete tasks on time, and per the schedule while working closely with the Production Supervisor for guidance.

What Youll Bring
High school diploma or GED
Commercial Food Manufacturing experience required. Bakery experience preferred.

At least 2 years of Lead experience required.
A positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new tasks

Physical Demands
Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking in an environment that can be noisy; will fluctuate in temperature and is not climate controlled.
The ability to repetitively bend, reach, stand, walk and lift 25lb boxes without difficulty

Weekly cookie allowance

• Four day work week (Monday Thursday). This position can be full time or part time. This position will fill the shift that ends at 7:00pm
