In this role, you will play a crucial part in automating processes, leveraging Power BI, and creating visually compelling presentations. Your expertise in data analysis and automation will enable us to streamline our compensation processes, drive data-informed decision-making, and enhance our overall compensation strategies.
What You'll Do:
Reporting into the Senior Executive Compensation Manager, you will
- Automate Processes: Develop and implement automated solutions using advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, nested functions, lookups, and macro creation. You will leverage VBA language to automate Excel files and generate outputs in PDF format, ensuring increased efficiency and accuracy in compensation-related processes.
- Power BI Dashboard Creation: Utilize your expertise in Power BI to design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards. Extract data from centralized sources and transform it using Power Queries to aggregate large volumes of data into a single source. Build insightful visualizations and reports to provide actionable insights on compensation metrics and trends.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and outliers in compensation data. Translate complex data into clear and concise visual presentations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across different systems.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and optimize compensation processes through automation, data-driven insights, and improved reporting. Propose and implement innovative solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase the overall efficiency of the compensation team.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the Compensation Team and other stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs. Proactively engage with team members to gather requirements, provide guidance on data visualization best practices, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Effectively communicate complex ideas and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What You'll Need:
- Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, nested functions, lookups, and macro creation. Experience in automating tasks and generating outputs in PDF format using VBA language.
- Power BI Expertise
- Great analytical skills with the ability to perform in-depth data analysis, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights from compensation data. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques is a plus.
