Sanitation Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Wholesale Produce Supply's has a full time Sanitation position in our Fresh Cut area! If you have the qualifications, competencies we are looking for and are able to work in colder temperatures, we will train the perfect candidate.

POSITION SPECIFICS

• Compensation Information: $17/hour
• Schedule/Shift Information: Monday through Friday 8:00am until finished, occasional Saturdays.
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, FSA, Life/STD Insurance, 401K and Paid time off.
  
  

Essential Functions Of The Role

• Understand, develop, and refine sanitation SSOPs in order to develop training capability, as well as implementing best practices
• Cleaning and Sanitizing of production equipment, and the entire facility
• Monitor and verify the effectiveness of sanitation
• Identify, report, and problem solve conditions or practices that may compromise food safety or overall sanitation effectiveness
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

• Previous sanitation experience preferred
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Be able to stand, walk, twist, turn, bend, the entire shift
• Lift up to 40lbs
• Ability to wear personal protection equipment (PPE)- Masks, goggles, aprons, hairnets, boots
• Must be able to work 35-38 degree temperatures
