Certification Details Medical Technologist (ASCP) Clinical Laboratory Scientist (AMT) Job Details Under minimal supervision, applies advanced technical skills and seasoned judgment to independently and competently provide a full range of sample test analyses and laboratory services in a hospital-based laboratory. Shift work and night and weekend call are required to provide 24 hour laboratory coverage. Perform all levels of testing including CLIA defined high complexity testing. Job Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field. One (1) year of progressive clinical experience or one (1) year of hospital internship subsequent to degree. Medical Technologist (ASCP) OR Clinical Laboratory Scientist (AMT) OR equivalent certification. Schedule Information Shift work and night and weekend call are required to provide 24 hour laboratory coverage. Unit Specific Information Works with infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
