Key Responsibilities Lead in analyzing, setting cost standards, and cost allocations Maintain fixed asset and equipment management records and reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting Collect and analyze data about the company’s operational and job-specific costs Prepare monthly cost reports, including actual vs. standard costs, performance to budget, and variance analyses Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations (including bank reconciliations), and process billing activity Execute accurate billing processes and track activity for state sales tax filings Map revenue and costs to the general ledger to maintain accurate financial records Support the annual audit and tax filings with reconciliations and supporting schedules Lead account receivables efforts Manage and reconcile stock inventory records Responsible for the day-to-day accounting, general ledger management, and month end close process in accordance with GAAP Reconciliation and analysis for balance sheet and PL accounts Prepares and posts journal entries Understands and stays updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or Master’s degree is a plus Minimum of 4 years in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing cost accounting; public accounting experience is a plus Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) ERP system proficiency (NetSuite preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external peers and customers Strong ethics and ability to handle confidential information Excellent organizational and time-management skills U.S. Government contracting (DCAA) accounting experience (preferred). Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Work Location & Reporting Cadence This is an onsite role reporting to Wrap’s Southwest Virginia manufacturing and office facilities. Primary Location : Wise, VA / Bristol, VA Other Locations (as needed) : Corporate Headquarters – Miami, FL Washington D.C.
