Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing, setting cost standards, and cost allocations
- Help to maintain fixed asset and equipment management records and reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting
- Review and facilitate accounts payable payments, including processing invoices for supply chain, vendors, and contractors
- Prepare and process customer invoices
- Handle customer and vendor inquiries related to invoices, payments or general billing-related questions
- Conduct outreach to customers regarding outstanding accounts receivable
- Review and process travel and budgetary expense reports
- Assist in daily cash activity reporting and accounts payable tracking
- Provide support for monthly close schedules and preparation of accounts payable-related reconciliations
- Support the Professional Services department’s requirements for billing and accounts payable (timecard tracking, invoicing, expensing, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Assists with quarterly and year end audit
- Responsible for the monitoring and operating Accounting mailbox
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing cost accounting; accounts payable and/or general accounting support
- U.S. Government contracting (DCAA) accounting experience is preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong ethics and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment is a plus
