What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant position at Wremlex Health Care Services LLC?
Shift: Mon- Fri 4pm-9pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals with challenging behaviors
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Support residents in exercising their rights and choices
- Work closely with individuals with autism spectrum disorder to enhance their quality of life
Skills:
- Proficient in assisting with ADLs and personal care tasks
- Knowledge of IDD care principles and practices
- Understanding of resident rights and advocacy
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Ability to drive residents to appointments, activities, and outings
- Proficient in meal preparation following dietary guidelines
- Skilled in maintaining a clean environment conducive to the well-being of residents
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
