About The Role
As a Bilingual Forklift Trainer, you'll be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to ensure the safe and proficient operation of forklifts within our organization. You'll play a crucial role in equipping our workforce with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate various types and models of forklifts efficiently.
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions on forklift operation both to English and Spanish speaking employees, covering a range of forklift types and models.
- Skills Assessment: Assess trainees' proficiency in forklift operation through practical demonstrations and written assessments.
- Safety Training: Emphasize safety protocols, hazard awareness, and best practices specific to forklift operation to ensure a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and trainee performance evaluations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to forklift operation training, and incorporate new techniques or materials into training programs as needed.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a forklift operator or trainer in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment is required.
- Certification: Possession of a valid forklift operator certification and instructor qualification is preferred.
