About The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
As an IT engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical assistance and support across various areas of our business, including head office, manufacturing, transport, retail, and beyond. You'll be the front face of IT, offering expertise and resolving issues through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. The role is 5 days a week with, weekend availability required, with occasional visits to our retail stores, no two days are the same. The hours for this role are rotating between the hours of 6:30am-8:00pm.
You will earn a salary of $55,000 per year $1,250 quarterly bonus

About The Role

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive IT support to desktop/laptop systems, mobile devices, printers, network connectivity, and more.
- Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues, including entry-level server problems, handheld RFID devices, cell phones, 3D systems, and beyond.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical team members.
- Collaborate with internal and external support providers to coordinate support activities.
- Record and respond to all incidents and requests within agreed-upon timelines.
- Conduct proactive maintenance of company desktop environment.
- Assist with software distribution and retail showroom IT installations as needed.
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in desktop support and/or service desk roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Apple operating systems.
- Strong understanding of network basics including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
- Knowledge and experience with MS Active Directory.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate support activities effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and environments.
Salary : $1,250 - $55,000
