What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Music Teacher position at Wrentham Public Schools?
In the music teacher role, you will prepare and implement the lesson plan for students throughout the school year in grades 3- 6, aligned with the Massachusetts Arts Framework. You will be expected to engage with students and foster an interactive learning environment. Success in this role will be demonstrated by differentiating to meet the varying needs of students to ensure high levels of student engagement. -Creates and implements lesson plans based on the frameworks-Teaches general music classes (Each class meets once per week.)-Establishes a presence on the school website and updates the site on a regular (monthly) basis to share information with students families.-Works collaboratively with the Roderick instrumental music teacher and Delaney general music teacher-Collaborates with teachers and administrators, remaining flexible with scheduling needs.
