About The Role
Assembly Managers play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production department.
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure year-round cover of all positions in the Assembly and Dispatch Area to maintain operations while employees are on any form of leave.
- Ensure that up to ate training is in place for all Assembly and Dispatch Team members though the deployment of the management team under you.
- Ensure that all necessary reports required by senior management are completed and submitted on time. This includes but is not limited to:
- Daily PI totals added to the Minix Warehouse System.
- Daily Shortage Reports sent as needed.
- Daily Rejects/Scrap Reports to be emailed.
- Daily Supervisor and Manager Check Sheets completed and submitted by emails.
- Supervisor and Team Leader Daily Reports submitted
- Your own Weekly Update as the Teams Direct Manager.
About You
Qualifications:
- Career focused individual able to give a high priority to their career goals and to their team.
- Must be willing to oversee operations to completion daily including all necessary overtimes (approx. 10-16 hours per week).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate, coach, develop, motivate and build effective relationships within teams and develop members suitable for advancement.
- Bilingual English/Spanish would be a significant advantage.
- Be a problem solver with the ability to identify improvement opportunities, based on their own experience and in line with the business goal of continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage both a team and individuals effectively and using appropriate means.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations OSHA.
- Planning and organizational skills.
