The Healthcare Business Development candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare sales, a deep understanding of the commercial construction and furniture industry landscape, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. As the BUILD Healthcare Business Development candidate, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence within the healthcare space. The Healthcare Business Development Associate will be WRG’s voice in the healthcare community promoting the company’s product profiles with designers, architects, general contractors, developers, and potential end-user clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Actively engage in business development activities throughout the local business and healthcare community, attending a variety of events, including those targeted at healthcare, design, construction and real estate professionals.

· Partner with manufacturer reps, harnessing each other’s talents to grow the overall BUILD business in the market.

· Create cost-effective designs, working closely with BUILD Designers and Project Managers to support their efforts throughout the sales process.

· Have a strong understanding of the construction process, real estate market and job site conditions for comfortable interactions with general contractors and project managers.

· Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth within the healthcare sector.

· Identify and prioritize key healthcare accounts, establish relationships with key decision-makers, and drive sales opportunities from initial contact to contract closure.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, project management, and sales admin to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company objectives and customer needs.

· Sales and Business Development: Identify and research potential customers to generate new business opportunities. Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities within assigned segment(s) and key account(s). Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiate pricing and contracts. Collaborate with sales team to develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets.

· Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with overall business objectives, focusing on long-term account growth and customer success. Identify and prioritize key initiatives, set goals and objectives, and establish action plans to achieve them. Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure success.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive intelligence to identify new business opportunities and anticipate market shifts.

· Drive customer engagement and satisfaction through exceptional service delivery, proactive communication, and responsiveness to customer inquiries and feedback.

· Prepare and present sales / business development forecasts, reports, and analyses to senior management, providing insights into leads, market trends, and growth opportunities.

· Understand and execute national contracts and GPO’s.

Position Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

· Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

· Minimum of 2-5 years of real estate healthcare background or healthcare construction experience.

· Strong understanding of the healthcare industry landscape, including knowledge of healthcare providers, payers, and regulatory environments.

· Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth in a competitive market.

· Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and value propositions to diverse audiences.

· High level of business acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking ability.

· Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong sense of urgency and a passion for driving customer success.

· Excellent presentation skills and a high level of comfort speaking to large groups.

· A high sense of urgency, able to execute on tasks efficiently and calmly when multitasking and quick thinking are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
