Compensation based on experience. Those with relevant certifications are encouraged to share that information in their application.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Willingness to learn and practice safe work procedures.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a group setting.
· Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
· Operation of heavy equipment
· Must have the ability to travel for work at any given time.
· Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
· Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
· This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role. Skilled Laborers expected to adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure their well-being and the safety of others. This includes, but is not limited to, the responsible handling of materials, and equipment, and adhering to all workplace safety guidelines and regulations.
Education and Experience:
· Knowledge in the following fields of construction: Carpentry, Excavation, Structural Concrete, Concrete Finishing, Pipe Fitting and Joining, Process Equipment installation, electrical underground conduit and duct banks.
· Prior job experience required
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
· Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times and push/pull 50-pound loads at a time.
· Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
· Must be able to stand and walk at least eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.
Must be able to work some Saturdays and at night, when needed.
