Overview:
We are currently seeking a Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as break rooms, conference rooms and bathrooms
- Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, vacuuming, mopping and polishing
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as assigned
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
