Repair Shop Manager

About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Repair Shop Supervisor to lead our service team and keep our operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone with a valid inspection license, hands-on mechanical expertise, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the repair shop, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Perform and oversee vehicle inspections in compliance with local/state regulations.
• Coordinate and manage internal fleet maintenance and scheduling.
• Maintain and monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies—ensuring availability and cost-efficiency.
• Train, coach, and manage shop technicians and support staff.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure timely service delivery and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid vehicle inspection license (required).
• Proven experience in a supervisory or lead technician role in an automotive or equipment repair shop.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience managing fleet vehicles and inventory systems is a strong plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
