Job Overview
This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate looking to step into a professional accounting department. Our team of Business-to-Business Accounting Professionals need project based accounting support. You will be involved in the entire accounting cycle researching and analyzing the “what’s and how’s” of corporate accounting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability, along with excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Through your accuracy and efficiency, you can play a crucial role in maintaining our company’s financial integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Project support for analyzing and researching various accounting initiatives
- Analyze client activity to generate predictive statistical trends
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams
- Help resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
- Help maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer issues
- Work with the project management team on invoice schedules
- Assist with other accounting projects as needed
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or prior work experience
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with project-based accounting is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance, is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
