Medical Billing Specialist (Experienced) – OT & Speech Therapy Clinic
Are you a detail-oriented, experienced medical biller looking to make an impact in a thriving, patient-focused therapy clinic? We’re seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our dedicated team at Wright Choice Therapy where we specialize in pediatric occupational and speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end billing processes, including claim submissions, follow-ups, and payment posting.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations for therapy services.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials or discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and coding standards (CPT, ICD-10).
- Generate billing reports and collaborate with our admin and therapy teams to maintain smooth financial operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of medical billing experience (preferably in OT, PT, or speech therapy settings).
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies with private payers.
- Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Handle backlog of billing / collection issues from 2024 for a short term project that could lead to full time position if done well.
