Wright Construction Group, LLC is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Lawton, OK.
The Heavy Equipment Operator (FINISH DOZER OPERATOR/ EXCAVATOR OPERATOR) will work closely with the Project Supervisor and Manager to operate equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Operation of bulldozer (including finish grading)
- Operation of excavator (including finish work)
- Maintenance of equipment
- Adhere to safety polices and procedures
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, Day shift.
- Morning shift.
- Overtime may be required.
Required Skills:
- A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen test and random drug tests on an as needed basis.
- Must have experience operating equipment such as dozer, excavator, and skid steer in construction environment.
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment, including standing, stooping, bending and walking on concrete for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a non-climatized environment for extended periods of time.
Ability to follow directions well enough to operate our equipment safely and efficiently.
- Commit to the overall safety of the work environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is required.
- Knowledge of operating Caterpillar machinery, dump trucks, water trucks, horizontal drilling equipment, loaders, graders, and tankers is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
