What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Technician position at Wright County?
Performs intermediate administrative work conducting a variety of human resources functions with an emphasis on administrative and technical functions such as processing and maintaining employee records, inputting information into the County's ERP system, assisting with recruitment efforts, report compilation, compensation and maintaining the employee performance appraisal system, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Human Resources Director.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Associates degree in human resources, organizational leadership, business administration, or related field, and at least two years of experience in human resources related work environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

- Serves as a subject matter expert on various human resource related software used by the County. This position serves as a resource to human resource department staff, County employees and management on the imputing of data into the County's Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system.
- Maintain and update information in multiple human resource related systems (ERP, recruitment software, SharePoint, OnBase and County website).
- Assists with processing benefit information for employees and updates into the County's ERP system.
- Creates and maintains personnel records and reports including databases, personnel files and required reports, records for recruitment, employment, benefits programs, training programs.
- Assist in compiling reports, forms and surveys as requested. Assist in the planning of meetings and training events including, but not limited to, reserving conference rooms and required materials and equipment.
- Complete various surveys and verifications of employment that are received by the department.
- Assists the Human Resources Department with recruitment preparations for all non-elected County employees including advertising job openings, preparing candidate interview packets, completing reference checks/verifications of employment, and assisting with new hire orientation and general employee training.
- Performs other duties and activities as assigned.
