Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/Week
Pay: $2406.00/Week
Non-Taxable: $1218.00/Week
Taxable: $1188.00/Week
Blended Pay: $66.83
Requirement:
2 years of experience in a large hospital (over 200 beds), level 1 trauma.
Ability to care for critically ill patients independently.
BLS - must be AHA, ACLS - must be AHA, NIHSS, ND or compact state RN License.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments
- Perform specimen collection processing and analysis
- Provide health coaching and patient education
- Assist with family planning services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in nursing homes and medical offices
- Administer IV insertions and manage intravenous therapy
- Participate in critical care transport when necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Previous experience in ICU or critical care settings preferred
- Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
