Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to medical standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Monitor patient progress and medical records
- Provide guidance on acute pain management and discharge planning
- Perform phlebotomy, IV insertions, and diagnostic evaluations as needed
- Maintain standards of nursing care and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with medical professionals for optimal patient outcomes
Experience
- Previous experience in a nursing supervisory role
- Proficiency in patient assessment and care planning
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and Cerner system
- Ability to perform IV insertions and phlebotomy
- Familiarity with acute pain management and discharge planning
- Experience in nursing home or acute care settings is advantageous
