We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team at the Grand Adirondack Hotel in Lake Placid. This role is essential in maintaining our financial records and supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service while fostering a culture of growth and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
- Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Respond to inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong proficiency in Google Suite and other office software applications.
- Excellent data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
