Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, driven, and hands-on General Manager to lead the team at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Downtown Memphis. The ideal candidate is an inspirational leader who can drive profitability, foster team development, maintain brand standards, and elevate guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to all hotel departments
- Achieve financial goals by maximizing revenue and controlling expenses
- Oversee and collaborate with sales, revenue, and marketing teams to drive business
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and maintain strong guest service culture
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams
- Build strong relationships with owners, brand representatives, community partners, and vendors
- Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance with Hilton guidelines and quality assurance programs
- Lead hotel budgeting and forecasting processes, with a strong focus on profitability
Qualifications:
- 3 years of hotel General Manager experience (Hilton brand experience preferred)
- Proven success in leading and motivating teams in a full-service hotel environment
- Strong financial acumen and experience in revenue management and forecasting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of guest experience, service delivery, and operational best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
