Manufacturing Facility Porter

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Porter to join our Team to assist in maintaining cleanliness and order throughout our manufacturing facility. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation by keeping our workspaces clean, organized, and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

o Perform routine cleaning of all areas, including production floors, hallways, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.

o Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors, wipe down surfaces, and empty trash cans regularly.

o Ensure all restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies and maintain their cleanliness.

o Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed.

o Follow prescribed schedule (daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly) of duties to ensure proper rotation of cleaning tasks.

• Experience: Previous experience of at least 2 years in a janitorial or facilities maintenance role required.
• Skills:
  • Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and moving materials
  • Self directed time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Basic knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Prefer bilingual- English / Spanish
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions within a manufacturing environment.

Pay Range: From $18.00 per hour depending on experience.
