Dispatcher
The Dispatcher is responsible for receiving work order requests from the client and coordinating the placement of the field crews based on the work order needs. The Dispatcher will have daily communications with clients and all field personnel.
The Dispatcher will report directly to the Operations Manager of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating by calls, emails, and text messages from with the client(s) well as crew members related to daily scheduling
- Must be able to answer calls, texts, and emails in the evenings and weekends if needed
- Planning, organizing and effectively dispatching the schedule of our traffic control teams daily
- Answering calls, emails, text messages and inquiries from the customers, crew members related to daily scheduling and the required support on equipment and resources within and after working hours
- Coordinate communication between customers, sales team and crew members on the jobsites to ensure the highest customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Ensure that the crew members know what equipment is needed for the job, the location and start time to ensure the highest customer satisfaction is achieved
- Assist management with monitoring daily activities through GPS, phone calls and emails to ensure all jobsites are fully operational and efficient
- Maximizing the deployment of the Guardian Smart Flaggers (GSFs) in all job sites to attain the highest productivity and safety
- Be able to provide the daily job report accurately and timely
- Making sure that jobs are dispatched to crews timely
- Appropriately managing, handling and escalating all dispatch-related issues to management if required
- Able to handle schedule changes, call outs and emergency jobs to effectively cover all sites
- Quickly escalate all dispatch-related issues to management if necessary
- Working with invoicing in making sure that the client(s) are billed properly
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements/Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and internet resources
- Previous office assistance, dispatching or scheduling experience preferred in a fast-paced environment
- Have on call experience
- Must be able to possess the ability to analyze information
- Be able to work individually and self-driven
- Knowledge of operational planning
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record, and have reliable transportation
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
- Required to adhere to all policies and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
