Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a licensed Engineering Project Manager to join our Southeast One Water Group. This key role is based in our Jacksonville, FL office and oversees the technical planning, design, construction, and project management of drinking water and wastewater source, distribution, storage and treatment projects in Jacksonville/North Florida and Central Florida.
Responsibilities
- Technical planning, design, construction administration and project management of drinking water source, distribution, storage and treatment projects
- Facilitation of project proposals, project interviews and presentations
- Team management; mentoring and teaching junior staff, QC/QA their work
- Strategic planning, goal management, deliverables execution
- Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex project challenges
- Oversee project budget, schedule, production and quality control across all phases
- Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams to ensure project success
- Lead technical execution for large or complex multi-disciplinary projects
- Supervise preparation of technical drawings, specifications and bid packages
- Ensure project requirements and deliverables are met on time and within budget
- Identify opportunities to enhance Wright-Pierce’s project standards and execution
- Mentor and develop junior-level staff, fostering their professional growth
- Travel to client and project sites as needed
- Represent Wright-Pierce in relevant industry organizations and events
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of water or wastewater engineering experience required.
- MS Office Suite and Bluebeam proficiency required.
- Previous team leadership experience, including management of direct reports, required.
