Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to join our Massachusetts Water team. This person can be located out of our Marlborough, Burlington or Westfield, MA office. In this role, you will be involved with planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects.
Responsibilities
- Planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects
- Hydraulic design for pump and piping systems
- Master planning & asset management
- Writing technical reports, memos, communications
- Working on sampling, testing, pilot studies
- Field work and site visits for projects in various phases
- Mentoring junior-level staff, partnering with other teams' members
Essential Functions

Experience
- 7 years of experience working on a variety of drinking water engineering projects
- MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- AutoCAD, GIS knowledge is a plus
Education
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Certifications
- Professional Engineer License is required
