Wright-Pierce, a multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a licensed Lead Project Engineer to join our Vermont Water group. This position is responsible for the planning, design, and construction administration of drinking water source, distribution, storage, treatment projects in Vermont and throughout greater New England.
*They will work/be located in Burlington, VT while reporting remotely into our New Hampshire-based leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Planning, design, construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage and treatment projects.
- Handling hydraulic design for pumps and piping systems.
- Preparation of drawings and specifications for bid.
- Technical delivery of all project requirements and deliverables; ensuring timely communication with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Production, scheduling and quality control of projects in various stages.
- Writing technical reports, cost proposals and other key communications.
- Teaching/mentoring junior level staff.

- 7 years of drinking water engineering projects experience required

Certifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer
