Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Water Technical Leader to join our Southeast One Water Group. Responsibilities
- Technical responsibility for designing, organizing, and executing small to large sized water/wastewater projects for a variety of clients
- Perform project tasks including planning, modeling, calculations, design, cost estimates, specifications, and permitting
- Serve as the Lead Project Engineer on various water treatment projects in the Southeast Region from design through construction and start-up
- Technical writing including generating proposals, preliminary design reports, pilot studies
- Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Perform portions of large or complex multi-disciplinary projects
- Identify opportunities to enhance organization's standards and delivery of services
- Manage and mentor junior-level engineering staff
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines within the firm
- Perform quality assurance reviews on work by others
- Attend professional conferences and events to support individual career growth and promote Wright-Pierce
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative and effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Build strong relationships with coworkers
- Effective client relationship skills
- 10 years engineering experience executing a variety of Water/Wastewater projects
- Reverse Osmosis experience strongly desired
- Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Proficiency with RTW Model preferred
- Prior experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff
- Professional Engineer licensed in Florida
- B.S. Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
