Wright Plastic Products has a 1st Shift Tooling Preventative Maintenance position available at our Sheridan, MI location.
Summary of Position Responsibilities:
PM and maintain molds, dies, fixtures, machinery and tools as scheduled and other duties scheduled by the tooling lead or Technical Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and Grease molds, tools, fixture as scheduled
- Assist manufacturing with mold maintenance as required
- Operate mills, surface grinder, lathe and EDM (Advanced-later)
- Participates in the continuous improvement process as well as the correction action process for programs having productivity and quality issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
Ability to obtain a hi-lo license
Ability to supply own tools
Other Requirements:
Physical: Performing the duties of the Tooling PM Tech will require regular use of hands, finger, talk and hear. This position is also required to stand walk sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel crouch, or crawl. Occasional lifting of up to 80lbs with regular lifting of up to 100lbs will be required. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Flexibility: This position requires flexibility with special situations that may require after regular hours phone calls or assignments.
