Role Overview
Join a highly regarded New England law firm as a full-time Trust & Estate Paralegal. You will support attorneys by managing trust and estate administration, preparing court filings, drafting legal documents, and coordinating with clients and external advisors. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and ready to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and organize estate planning documents (e.g., wills, trusts, powers of attorney).
Prepare probate filings, estate and gift tax returns, and accountings.
Maintain detailed client files, track estate administration tasks, and update internal databases.
Coordinate with clients, beneficiaries, and financial advisors to gather necessary data.
Research legal issues related to estate planning and tax compliance.
Assist with meeting preparation and ensure compliance with firm policies and regulations.
Requirements
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
3 years of Trust & Estate Paralegal experience in a legal setting.
Knowledge of estate administration processes and tax return preparation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software tools.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
