Wright Technical Services is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Coordinator for a leading automation client in Detroit, Michigan. This key role involves executing EHS policies and collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with EHS and Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
Responsibilities :
- Drive the EHS vision across company and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and ANSI regulations.
- Act as the liaison for OSHA and EPA communications.
- Develop and manage the EHS budget and establish performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Production departments to reduce workplace injuries.
- Provide technical guidance on EHS matters and create training programs for employee engagement.
- Review new equipment and layout changes for EHS compliance.
- Analyze injury statistics and conduct incident investigations.
- Update emergency action plans and Corporate EHS Directives.
- Maintain the quality manual and lead internal ISO audits.
- Define long-term quality goals and report QMS performance to senior management.
- Coordinate Continuous Improvement initiatives and ensure customer certification compliance.
