Wright Technical is supporting an integrator client in the industrial pipe and tubing space in need of a field service engineer to join their growing team. Individual will provide technical support, including troubleshooting, repair, installation, maintenance, and training on various types of industrial automation equipment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide technical support, solve problems, maintain systems, and deliver a consistent, positive customer service experience.
- Work independently on programming, debugging, integrating, testing, and installations.
- Conduct industrial troubleshooting in electrical, wiring, PLC, HMI, robot logic / path programming, and networks.
- Meet challenging project timelines and budgets.
- Travel as required for installation, start-up, or field support.
- Communicate effectively to provide detailed reports and updates.
- Assist in-house customer service support (phone, email, training, etc.).
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner per ISO requirements.
- Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance, training, and service support with customers.
