Job Summary
Wright Technical Services is proud to represent a manufacturer in the healthcare industry for this role.
The System Administrator will be responsible for the management and maintenance of network resources, servers, Microsoft 365, and AWS infrastructure. This role focuses on day-to-day operations, incident response, system monitoring, and backup / recovery processes. The individual will work independently but collaborate closely with the Cybersecurity Manager as part of the security response team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong experience managing and supporting Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with AWS operational tasks (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
- Proficiency in managing servers, network resources, and backup / recovery processes.
- Solid understanding of monitoring tools and incident response best practices.
- Familiarity with system security principles and collaboration with cybersecurity teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications :
- Certifications such as MCSA / MCSE, AWS Solutions Architect, or similar.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, scripting languages) for system management.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
