The Role:
Wright Water Engineers, Inc. (WWE) is seeking an Executive Assistant (EA) to provide crucial support to a member of our executive leadership team. As an EA to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), you will play a strategic and pivotal role in enabling the CAO to focus on driving company priorities, maximizing client experience, and ensuring a professionally rewarding team environment. As an EA to the CAO, you'll be at the heart of our operations, taking on a wide range of responsibilities.
Key Duties:
- People Operations: Hiring process including resume screening, candidate communicateons, and onboarding.
- Employee Engagement: Mentoring, annual review process, benefits administration, and overall attention to the pulse of the organization.
- Technical Editing: Handle technical editing and formatting of company and project-related documents.
- Professional Licenses: Ensure company-wide compliance with state-by-state requirements for professional licensure. Maintain registration records in various platforms, including NCEES.
- Effective Communication: Manage correspondence, emails, and phone calls with professionalism.
- Content Creation: Compose reports, emails, memos, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Logistics Expertise: Coordinate executive travel and ensure timely expense reporting.
- Project Facilitation: Act as a liaison for large project teams working across multiple locations.
- Document Management: Safeguard sensitive information and manage large document files.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research and provide valuable analysis and insights.
- Digital Proficiency: Utilize standard desktop software (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe) for various tasks. Familiarity with Deltek VantagePoint and Foxit is helpful.
- Proactive Support: Take the initiative to follow through on tasks and manage initiatives effectively.
- Confidentiality: Handle correspondence and sensitive information discreetly and tactfully.
Required Qualifications:
- Professional Demeanor: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to anticipate, prioritize, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Problem Solver: Quickly gain an understanding of a problem and work with internal and/or external resources to effectively bring the problem to resolution.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in technical document editing and formatting.
- Confidentiality: Capable of handling sensitive information discreetly.
- Independence: Ability to work autonomously and execute projects with minimal direction.
- Initiative: Willingness to take the lead in the executives’ absence.
- Tech-savvy: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, web-conferencing, and document management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Five years of relevant administrative or equivalent experience.
- Background: Knowledge of civil engineering or law.
- People Operations: Previous Peoples Operations/Human Resources support is strongly preferred.
- Legal Expertise: Paralegal, clerk, or legal secretary experience is a plus.
- Executive Support: Previous experience supporting a Vice President or higher-level executive and experience supporting multiple executives.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.
- Compensation range: $65,000-85,000/year, based on experience, education, and skills.
