Janitorial Worker (office cleaning)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including both routine cleaning and specialized tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.

• Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols and standards.

• Maintain restrooms by ensuring they are stocked, clean, and hygienic at all times.
• Handle custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work or related fields such as commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or prolonged standing.
• A commitment to safety practices while using cleaning supplies and equipment is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.59 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
