Position Summary
The Porter is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and swimming pool maintenance.
- Removes trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily.
- Prepares property trash for pick-up.
- Assists in the preparation of market ready units, including removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
- Performs assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- Assists in the cleaning of available apartments and/or models.
- Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, and common areas to the Property Manager.
- Meticulously maintains curb appeal.
- Represents the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property.
- Delivers communication documentation to residents.
- Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
- Learn and ensure compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.

Qualifications
- Basic proficiency of reading and writing of the English language.
- Willingness to perform all required tasks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits.
- Ability to professionally represent the company.
- Able to work on‐call (as necessary and/or an emergency arises) and extended hours (including after hours and weekends).
- Attention to detail ‐ meticulous.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to interact effectively with staff and residents.
- Ability to work individually and with a team.
Education/Certification
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Pool Certification a plus
Expected Hours of Work
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Physical presence at Athens Reserve is required to perform the duties of this position.
