What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Director position at Wrightstown Community School District?
Wrightstown Community School District is seeking a dynamic Technology Director for our school community of approximately 1300 students and 170 employees. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can facilitate the process of building and strengthening our Technology practices in order to increase student achievement.
The candidate must possess strong communication and technical skills.
The Technology Director is responsible for the design, implementation and effectiveness of the Technology department. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and manage department budget
- Supervise IT department staff
- Manage Student Information System (Skyward Qmlativ)
- Purchasing department equipment, software and supplies
- Manage inventory
- Management of E-rate program
- Maintain Disaster Recovery Plan
- Provide Professional Development to staff as needed
Technology Director reports to Director of Business Services.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Information Technology or related field, or 3 years experience in an Information Technology related field
- Experience working in K12 education is a plus
- Experience handling end user support for a diverse hardware and software environment
- Experience supporting Skyward Student Management System is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
