What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Project Manager position at Wripple?
Our global airline client is looking for a Junior Project Manager to work within the company's in-house Global Sales Creative Studio, which functions as an in-house agency and partner directly with Creative and Sales leaders, designers, copywriters, Events teams, etc. The Junior Project Manager will report directly to the Creative Studio Manager. The ideal Junior Project Manager will have experience working in an agency or in-house agency setting and have a solid working knowledge of Workfront.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: This is a 12-month, 40 hours/week contract role with opportunities to extend. You absolutely must be ATL-based and open to 3-4 days/week onsite to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Intaking Creative Request Forms (CRFs) within Workfront
- Allocating resources and workload balancing
- Leading weekly project check in
- Maintaining task lists, due dates and project statuses within Workfront
- Creating timelines for projects
- Tracking down previous project numbers for update/resize requests
- Keeping Sales Ops informed on team bandwidth
- Acting as the main point of contact for a dedicated set of clients, building relationships, maintaining and communicating timelines, and escalating issues/risk
- Assisting manager with monthly reporting
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST have 2-5 years experience and knowledge as a project manager, preferably handling creative materials
- Between 2-5 years of proven project management and/or account management experience; in an agency or in-house agency setting preferred
- Workfront or other project management system experience is preferred
- Self-starter, hungry to learn and implement processes quickly
- Adaptable and flexible to try things and do what is needed to help the team
- Understanding of generally how long creative requests like copywriting, campaign creative, photo editing, retouching, etc. take
- Team-first attitude
- Understanding or desire to understand B2B/B2B2C marketing
